Pombal advances with pedestrian and cycling network in the urban center

The project is based on the municipality's strategy of reducing carbon emissions, promoting the use of soft modes and especially the use of bicycles to the detriment of motorized transport. The development of this pilot project aims to test the bet on the smooth modes for the city of Pombal and act as a kick-off and measure results to, in the future, bet more strongly on a more extensive pedestrian and cycling network with greater expression.
 

 

Thus, it is proposed to offer an attractive, functional and safe pedestrian and cycling network, which quickly and easily provides your trip to the main points of interest of the city and, cumulatively, free of architectural barriers that condition the movement of pedestrians and cyclists.
