Turismo de Portugal creates "Clean & Safe Establishment" Seal for Tourism Companies

Turismo de Portugal has created a stamp to distinguish tourist activities that ensure compliance with hygiene and cleaning requirements for prevention and control of Covid-19 and other possible infections, thus enhancing the tourist's confidence in the destination. 

 

The Tourist Enterprises, tourism animation companies and travel and tourism agencies wishing to obtain the "Clean & Safe Establishment" seal must comply with the set of provisions contained in the 'Declaration of Commitment' which is available on the digital platforms of Turismo de Portugal relating to the registration of companies national register of tourist companies (RNET), national tourism animation register (RNAT) or National Travel and Tourism Agencies (RNAVT).

 

Only after submitted on the above mentioned platforms the Declaration of Commitment by the companies, are they able to use the Seal in question, either in their physical facilities or in channels and platforms for dissemination and sale. 

 

Will the Seal awarded to each company be associated with their RNET Registration Number, RNAA? T or RNAVT?

 

Turismo de Portugal, in coordination with the competent authorities, will carry out random audits of the participating establishments.
