The 14th edition of the Almonda Trail is scheduled for May 19, 2024, starting and ending at the Serra d'Aire School Center, in the parish of Pedrógão, municipality of Torres Novas.
The event offers three participation options: trail (25km), mini-trail (15km) and walk (10km). Registration has been open since February 5 and can be made until May 12 through the link: https://traildoalmonda2024.bol.pt/. Prices vary according to the registration date, being €9 for the trail, €8 for the mini-trail, and €5 for the hike until April 21st.
After this date, until May 5th, the values increase to €11, €10 and €6, respectively. Between May 6 and 12 (registration deadline), prices are €13, €12 and €7. The departure time is set for 9 am (trail), 9:15 am (mini-trail) and 9:20 am (hike). Registration includes personal accident insurance, logistical and technical support, supplies, changing rooms near the start and finish line, massage area, bib, t-shirt alluding to the race and finisher's medal.
Promoted by the Municipality of Torres Novas, the race is part of the trail circuit of the Santarém Athletics Association. The goal is to bring together nature and sports lovers in the privileged Serra d'Aire. Since its inception in 2010, the event has attracted hundreds of attendees from all over the country.
