With another day of celebration in relation to the previous year, the Abrantes Festivities are back from June 7 to 14 with a vast and diverse program, for all tastes, and with several novelties, among them the concentration of the Handicraft Fair in Largo Motta Ferraz.
They will once again be the meeting point of the Abrantine community and will animate the county and the region, with a program filled with musical shows, along with the craft fair, the taverns and a set of new spaces and activities.
The Mayor of Abrantes, Manuel Jorge Valamatos, accompanied by Councilors Luís Dias and João Gomes and the Head of the Culture Division, Anabela Diogo, presented this Monday, May 8, at a press conference, the program of the Abrantes Festivities 2023.
Marisa Liz (June 7), Agir (June 8), D.A.M.A (June 9), Festa M80 (June 10), Pedro Dyonysyo (June 11), Toy (June 12) and Calema (June 13) are the headliners of the Abrantes Festivities 2023.
"This program is one of the best ever", began by mentioning Manuel Jorge Valamatos also highlighting the main novelties of this year's Abrantes Festivities: the holding of the Handicraft Fair, which will also have traditional sweets, for the first time in Largo Motta Ferraz, the return of fireworks to Aquapolis Sul, the animation at Largo João de Deus with the Sunset Stage where several DJ's will pass and the exhibition with works of the students of the Visual Arts Course of the Dr. Solano de Abreu Secondary School, curated by Hugo Dinis, which will open at quARTel – Municipal Gallery, on June 14.
