Discover the cycle "Pediatrics - Growing Health"
Here comes the second cycle of the sessions "Pediatrics - Growing with Health", an incredible opportunity to absorb valuable knowledge about child health, taught by pediatric interns from the Médio Tejo Local Health Unit. These sessions are scheduled at the Gustavo Pinto Lopes Municipal Library, taking place between January and May of this year.
The sessions will take place on Saturdays, starting at 3:30 p.m. The first session, taking place on January 27, will address the theme "First Aid 2.0 - Basic Life Support and Choking (Theory and Practice)". The cycle continues on February 24 with "My son is sick... now what?", followed by "Myths in Pediatrics" on March 30 and "Pros and Cons of Screen Use in Children and Adolescents" on April 27. In closing, the last session, on May 25, will address "How to talk about sex education with your child".
These sessions, about 45 minutes each, are free, but registration is mandatory. Reserve your place via email biblioteca@cm-torresnovas.pt. They are especially aimed at parents or future parents, grandparents and caregivers of children in general.
The aim of these lectures is to share theoretical and practical knowledge fundamental to the development of parenting skills, focused on the nutrition, development and safety of children and young people. This is a valuable resource that is accessible to the entire community interested in promoting children's health.
