Driving in Portugal:
Traffic takes place on the right side. In the squares, intersections and junctions, unless otherwise signposted, vehicles that are on the right have priority. At intersections with roundabouts, priority is given to vehicles that are already circulating inside. Road signs comply with international standards. The use of seat belts is always mandatory and the use of mobile phones during driving is prohibited.

Funchal airport offers direct regular connections to major European countries. As London is the city with the highest number of weekly frequencies, the low cost operation for this important European capital stands out.
